a little before and after...

Post processing is my favorite when it comes to photography.  I use the photograph as a blank canvas and create my vision.  Maybe it's because I cannot write, draw or paint....but I find I have a lot control when I'm creating a digital enhancement.  One of my clients, Catherine, loved this photo of her son and Murphy, the dog; however, she wanted to be excluded from photo.  I said, "Sure, let's see what I can do."

and this is what I came up with....I fell in love with it!!!  as well as Catherine.  Thank you Catherine!!!!

happy birthday - celebrating one year

murphy the dog.  man's best friend.  a boy's first pet.  a mom's guardian.

When I consulted with Catherine about her portrait with her son, who was turning one year's old, we discussed that the little man would be the focus of attention.  Indeed he was, but Murphy kind of sneaked in there and stole some of the show.  At first, Murphy wasn't going to be involved.  Catherine did not know if I would I allow.  I recommended that Murphy come along too.  He's family too and needs to be involved.  And so glad we did.

Kevin and Catherine's little boy turned one in November of 2012.  He loves cars, wagons, his dog - Murphy, and reading books.  He loves to swing and he loves his mommy and daddy.   Happy Birthday!!!!
