the olivia act

The Olivia Act, named after Olivia Rose Engel killed in Newtown, was started by a photographer. Olivia's family had just recently had family portraits taken by professional photographer, Tim Nosenzo, just a short time before she was killed. Those pictures are precious and now priceless to them. Upon hearing this, the photographer was moved to give away a 30 minute family session and has challenged other photographers to do the same. We go about our daily lives and sometimes do not take the time or have the resources to have family portraits taken.

I will be donating one 30 minute photography session to one family for a 2013 session. I will be taking nominations for a family who you think would appreciate having family portraits done. I will take nominations until December 31st. Please only email these nominations to denise@denisemarieolson.com putting "The Olivia Act Nomination" in the subject line. Please email their name, contact information and a brief summary of why you chose them. The chosen family will be contacted via email. Please do not post any information on facebook. The gift is a 30 minute session and 15 digital images. The session is to take place in Corning, New York. Such a priceless gift, one that can be hung around their house, and shared for generations. Please share this ♥

Photographers, please consider taking part in The Olivia Act.
